Learning Leadership
CGA has been an incredible time of growing and learning in a lot of ways. One of the experiences I have had down here is being part of Leadership Track. In Leadership Track, myself and 9 other apprentices are learning about various aspects of what it means to be a Christian leader.
We have done this by getting into the Word. We each read one of the gospels and shared about how we saw Jesus lead. I chose the book of Mark and learned a lot! We have also read books such as Humility and Ruthless Trust!
Most days, we have a guest speaker from someone in the Adventures community. They have taught us about communication, being emotionally healthy, rest, and many other things!
It has been incredibly rewarding to be surrounded by these amazing leaders and I am already grateful for the wisdom they are teaching us. I knew this season would be one of equipping and that has definitely been the case!
Our semester is nearly halfway over and I’m excited to learn even more! My final support raising deadline is three weeks away and I’m only $800 from my goal!
